Joel Chanaca

Joel Chanaca is a two-time Global Book Awards–winning author, recognized for his contributions to Humor and Heart and Hunter, the English Setter. A dedicated game warden with over twenty-five years of law enforcement experience, Joel has spent his career in public safety and wildlife law enforcement.

From an early age, Joel embraced adventure—camping, fishing, canoeing, and scuba diving—experiences that would later inspire his storytelling. His deep appreciation for nature has only grown through his work in natural resource protection, reinforcing his belief in the beauty and complexity of God’s creation.
