Robert D Dean

Robert D. Dean is a retired father of three and grandfather of five, living in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Vicky. Before retiring, he worked in the Christian Music Industry for more than 40 years, in marketing, sales, advertising, and distribution. He’s written hundreds of radio spots, print ads, product descriptions, sales brochures, and several trade magazine articles. A certified paralegal, he is also the author of Echoes of Andersonville, a Civil War novel for young readers, and Faith & Funnies: Wit and Wisdom from the Porch Swing, a collection of amusing life observations. Both are available on Amazon.

Robert’s hobbies include reading and exploring history, and he has a particular passion for historic aircraft, having flown on several vintage WWII planes. He serves as a community group leader at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee, and is a long-time volunteer at the historic Franklin Theatre.

“Who Colored the Leaves?” is his debut children’s book, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
