Scott Franklin has been writing since childhood but started his drinking journey as a teenage homebrewer, because buying grain and hops is legal and buying beer isn’t. He moved on to tequila and bourbon as a U.S. Marine, and has been exploring the wider world of spirits ever since. By day, Scott works in software, specializing in high performance distributed systems and software-as-a-service. By night, he is a husband and father in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where he spends his copious free time sunbathing, creating high-concept cocktails, and making up autobiographical information.
