Susan B Wile
I was born in Liberia, Africa because my father was a diplomat. My family lived there only two years before we moved back to the U.S. When I was five, my family moved to Holland where I went to a Dutch school and learned to read, write and speak Dutch. I didn’t know how to read or write English until I was eight. The first book I could read on my own was Dr. Seuss’, The Cat in The Hat, which I loved. I have always loved animals too, and just about anywhere in nature is my favorite place to be.
I love a good story and have always felt like a writer. Scribbling on paper with a pencil felt exactly like writing to me at the tender age of three. I have written grants, web copy, advertising copy, scripts for corporate videos, sell sheets, marketing reports and internal communications for a large multi-national corporation professionally. EXTINCTION WARRIOR is my first novel.
I live in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley where I love hiking, biking and growing fruit, flowers and vegetables. I am married and live with the sweetest rescue dog, three cats and thousands of honeybees. Yes, I’m a beekeeper!
P.S. Don’t miss the Goodreads Giveaway of inscribed copies of EXTINCTION WARRIOR running Sept 20–Oct 5, 2025!
